An Algerian travels by boat. He crosses the Atlantic Ocean, leaving his past behind. The boat arrives in New York City, where everyone is lost. The Algerian is no exception. He travels with only a single suitcase, carrying a gift for his best friend and two instruments from his country. He hopes he will find his friend.
